We had a wonderful stay at a charming little cottage near Glastonbury and Wells. The cottage itself was warm, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. We loved the spiral staircase and the cozy bedroom with its low beams. The small courtyard and terrace garden were absolutely stunning, filled with wild garlic, bluebells, and apple trees. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, with Cheddar Gorge, Bath, and Glastonbury all just a short drive away. We found the owner to be friendly and helpful, and we even made friends with the resident cats. we had a delightful experience at this tranquil retreat.

The cottage was a beautiful and tranquil retreat, perfect for a peaceful New Year getaway. The terrace was stunning, especially in the mornings. The cottage itself was super comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, and even left a bottle of wine and flowers for us. The private parking area was convenient and the cottage was well equipped and laid out. The bath towels provided were also a nice touch.
That the town of Shepton Mallet seemed a bit down at heel. the lighting in the kitchen area could have been better.

We had a warm welcome with a nice little surprise of cookies, eggs, and milk waiting for us. the cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. the garden was a lovely spot to relax, and despite the rain, we managed to spend a nice evening there. the layout of the cottage was well-thought-out, and the soft towels in the bathroom were a nice touch. the addition of small items like tea, biscuits, and ice was appreciated. the friendly cats and host made our stay even more enjoyable.
The town center was a bit disappointing. It seemed run down and uninviting, especially in the evenings.

The cottage had a charming and cozy layout, with soft towels in the bathroom and a nice little garden. The host was friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had small items like tea, milk, biscuits, and ice. The wifi worked well, allowing us to stay connected. The private parking area was convenient. a pleasant and comfortable stay.
The kitchen area could use better lighting, and the shower could have been more powerful. However, these were minor inconveniences compared to the cleanliness and overall condition of the cottage.

The cottage was well-equipped for a self-catering stay, with provisions like milk, tea, coffee, and biscuits provided. The terrace and gardens outside of the cottage provided a lovely view and added to the relaxing atmosphere.- The location of the cottage was ideal, being in the heart of the city and close to the center.
The lighting situation on the stairs was a bit inconvenient, as the control was only accessible downstairs and the overhead light was too bright and shone directly on the bed. The cooker in the cottage was outdated and the solid rings were slow and unresponsive.

The cottage was cozy and well-decorated, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. the location was convenient, close to the town center and easily accessible. the hosts were welcoming and accommodating, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The lighting in certain areas of the cottage was inadequate, making it difficult to see and navigate at night. Specifically, the lights on the stairs were controlled from downstairs, resulting in a very bright overhead light shining directly on the bed when used.

Great location near Bath, Wells, and Glastonbury. Close to local shops for supplies. Comfortable bed and clean accommodations.
Poor water pressure in the shower and low ceilings. The outside space was not suitable for dogs and our dog had to be kept on a leash.
